This is a selection of verses and games, which we perform with the
children in the forest-group:
Africa
This one goes to Africa (thumb)
This one is watching him sadly (forefinger)
This one says good bye (middle finger)
This one calls: so long (ring finger)
And the pinky says:
take care at the river Nil, there are big alligators (the kids are
snatching)
5 little pigs
Five little pigs come along (right hand walks over the leg)
The farmer wants to sell them (left thumb)
The little nose (touch the nose)
The little ear (touch the ear)
The little belly (pose a belly)
The curly tail (pose curls in the air)
And the smallest one says: No, no, we better go home (wave the fingers
and hide them behind the back)
Now the farmer is alone and also goes home (left thumb also hides
behind the back)
Fire
This one shouts: fire (thumb)
This one asks: where ? (forefinger)
This one points : down there at the lake (middle finger)
This one roars: oh my god (ring finger)
and the pinky says: you better get the fire hose; that would help (the
kids prod)
All my fingers
All my fingers want to be animals today.
This thumb, fat and round, is the big sheep dog.
The forefinger is the prideful horse, adored by the horseman.
The middle finger is the colored cow, who always makes: muh, muh muh.
The ring finger is the billy goat with the long, shaggy coat.
And the pinky wanted to be a little lamb.
The little animals run hopp hopp hopp
run in gallop lopp lopp
run into the stable, because it will be night soon.
The little animals calmly fall asleep and dream of the sunshine.
Giggerigiiii!!!!
The little animals wake up again and start to run around.
Tralla lalla lalla la, tralla lalla lalla la, tralla lalla lalla la,
